Account and access token

How do I sign up?

Create an account on the sign-up page and you receive one access token in the format pm_XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX. Save that token and your account is ready. It cannot be shown again after the account is created, so copy it or save the file before you create the account.

What is the access token used for?

The one token logs you in to the site and is your proxy password. In code examples, put it where YOUR_TOKEN appears. Reading it from an environment variable instead of hardcoding it keeps it out of repositories and screen shares.

Can I get my token back if I lose it?

No. The server stores only a hash of the token and its last 4 characters, so there is no way to show the original again. Keep it in a password manager or another safe place right after sign-up.

How many accounts can I create from one IP?

Up to 3 accounts per IP address. To enforce this, the sign-up IP is stored only as a keyed hash, not as the address itself. The limit also applies to people who share one office or one router.

Is there a limit on login attempts?

Yes, login allows 10 tries per 10 minutes. If you reach the limit, wait a little and try again with your saved token. When pasting it, check that no spaces slipped in before or after.

What data does the site keep?

The token hash and last 4 characters, a keyed hash of the sign-up IP, a session cookie, a language cookie, top-up records (amount, status, deposit address, amount received, transaction id) and an admin action log. Details are in the privacy policy.

Connection and setup

What are the proxy host and port?

Every connection goes through one gateway, gate.proxymay.com:7000. Copy host gate.proxymay.com and port 7000 straight from the dashboard. Connection strings come in three formats: http://, socks5:// and host:port:user:password.

Should I use HTTP or SOCKS5?

Both work on the same gate.proxymay.com:7000 address. HTTP is enough for most scrapers and browsers; if a program only accepts SOCKS5, switch to the socks5:// format. The username, token, country and session rules are identical for both.

How do I build the username?

Start with user and add the parts you need, joined by -: type-mobile, country-<two-letter code>, city-<name> and session-<name>. Example: user-country-jp-city-tokyo-session-shop1. The connection screen in the dashboard builds it as you pick a country and city.

How do I write city names?

Write the city in lowercase and replace spaces with _. New York becomes city-new_york. Include the country code of that city as well, and use the spelling shown in each country's city list.

How long can I keep the same IP?

Add session-<name> to the username for a sticky session that keeps the same IP for up to 120 minutes. Session names use letters and digits, up to 16, and the same name keeps the same IP. Without a session, each request gets a new IP. To switch IPs, simply change the session name.

Why do I get a 407 error?

407 Proxy Authentication Required means the username format or the token is wrong. Check that the username starts with user, that every part is separated by -, and that the token has no leading or trailing spaces. Copying the username the dashboard builds avoids most format mistakes.

How do I check that the connection works?

Run the curl command from the dashboard against https://ipinfo.io/json. If the country and city in the response match your username, you are set. If your code fails, rerun curl with the same username first to narrow down the cause.

Products and coverage

How do the four products differ?

Rotating residential proxies use IPs that ISPs assign to ordinary homes, which change per request or stay put with a session, while Static ISP proxies keep one IP for a whole month. Datacenter proxies are fast and lowest priced for sites with light blocking, and Mobile proxies use IPs on carrier mobile networks. You can mix products on the same site depending on the job. All four are paid from the same balance.

How is pricing calculated?

Rotating residential starts at $0.80/GB and mobile at $4.00/GB, charged by traffic used. Static ISP starts at $3.00 per IP and datacenter at $1.20 per IP. The full table is on the plans page.

Which countries and cities are available?

We cover 60 countries and 175 cities. Check the city list and product availability for each country on the coverage page. Regions are grouped as Asia, Europe, Americas, Middle East and Africa, and Oceania.

How precisely can I target Mobile proxies?

Mobile proxies are available in 56 countries and target by country. Add type-mobile and country-<code> to the username. Mobile IPs also accept session-<name> to keep the same IP for up to 120 minutes.

When should I use Static ISP proxies?

They fit account management, IP allowlisting, checkout testing and long logins where you need the same IP all month. You can pick them at city level, and they are billed per IP. A fixed price per IP, whatever the traffic, makes costs easy to plan for busy account work.

What are Datacenter proxies good for?

Jobs where speed and many parallel requests matter on sites with light blocking. They are available in 18 countries and are the lowest priced of the four. For sites with heavy blocking, Rotating residential proxies or Mobile proxies fit better.

Top-ups and payment

How much can I top up?

Each top-up is at least $20 and at most $10,000. Visitors from one of 72 World Bank low and lower-middle income countries get a half minimum of $10, based on the country they connect from.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Only USDT on TRON (TRC20). Funds sent on any other network cannot be recovered, so double check the network before you send. In your wallet or exchange, look for TRC20 or TRON as the network name.

How does a deposit request work?

When you request a top-up, you see a deposit address and an exact amount with 6 decimals. The request is valid for 60 minutes, and deposits are matched by that exact amount, so send it exactly as shown. When sending from an exchange, make sure the amount that arrives, after any withdrawal fee, matches the request.

Can I open more than one deposit request?

Each account can have one open request at a time. Deposits are matched by amount, so this keeps requests from overlapping. To top up a different amount, wait until the current request is finished or its 60 minutes have passed, then create a new one.

When does the balance arrive?

Your balance is credited once the deposit is confirmed and checked. You can follow the request status on the top-up screen. The amount received and the transaction id are saved in your top-up record.

How does the top-up bonus work?

Bonuses depend on the top-up amount: $100 +20%, $200 +25%, $300 +30%, $500 +35%, $1,000 +40%, $3,000 +45%, $5,000 +50%. The bonus is added once, as a separate line, when the top-up is credited. For example, a $300 top-up shows a separate 30% bonus line, and the bonus works on all four products.

What can I spend my balance on?

One balance buys all four products. For example, you can pay for rotating residential traffic and static ISP IPs from the same balance. Switching products never requires a new top-up.

Refunds and usage rules

Can I withdraw my balance to a wallet?

The balance cannot be withdrawn to a wallet. Topping up in amounts that match your plans keeps leftover balance small. Any balance left can go to any of the four products.

How do refunds work?

Amounts for failed, undelivered, canceled or unprocessed service go back to your balance. You can spend the returned amount on any product again. The details are in the refund policy.

What can I use ProxyMay for?

Public data collection, ad verification, SEO rank checks, price monitoring, website and localization testing, and managing your own accounts. Pacing requests and following each target site's rules keeps your jobs running smoothly.

What uses are forbidden?

Unauthorized access to other people's accounts, spam, fraud, attacks, illegal content and anything that violates the law or a target site's rights. Such use is handled under the terms of service. As a rule, use proxies only on accounts you control and on public information.

Where can I read the terms?

Service conditions are in the terms of service, and stored data is described in the privacy policy. Both are linked at the bottom of every page. We suggest reading them once before your first top-up.
