Norway Residential Proxies and City IPs

Norway uses Norwegian and the Norwegian krone (NOK), with Finn.no as the best-known local marketplace. A Norwegian IP is needed to check krone prices, Google.no rankings and ads aimed at Norwegian users. Even when a site looks like its Swedish or Danish version, prices and copy are often run separately, so a dedicated check pays off.

Sites read the visitor's country from the IP and pick language, currency and ads from it. Connect from abroad and you will often see something different from what Norway users see.

Connect to the gateway gate.proxymay.com:7000 and add the country code to the username. The password is your account's access token, and HTTP and SOCKS5 use the same address.

The dashboard gives you http, socks5 and host:port:user:token formats to copy, plus a curl command that shows the country and city of the IP you were given.

You can target 2 cities in Norway: Oslo and Bergen.

Write the city name in lowercase with spaces as _, for example city-oslo.

For prices and currency, the country alone is enough. For local search results, map results and city-level ads, add the city. City targeting works with Rotating residential proxies.

By default every request gets a new IP. When a login or cart flow needs the same IP throughout, add a name after session-. The same name keeps the same IP for up to 120 minutes.

Session names use letters and digits, up to 16 characters. Give each task its own name and you can hold several Norway IPs side by side.
